George M. Weah

George Manneh Weah (born October 1, 1966) is a Liberian politician and former professional footballer who has served as the 25th President of Liberia since January 2018. Before his political career, he gained international fame as one of the world’s best football players, becoming the first and only African to win the prestigious FIFA World Player of the Year Award in 1995.
